Thing 1 - Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone
When it comes to learning new technology, especially when it is optional.... I tend toward the safe zone and vote no, however this time around, with prodding from a few fellow employees, I am going to give it a shot. After a few questions and some self doubts.... I have accomplished the task which will make by kids proud!!

Welcome to 23 Things on a Stick! I'm glad you stepped out of your comfort zone-- it's fun to see you here. Plus, this can be one more thing to make your sons roll their eyes.
